Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I signed a 30 year mortgage with my girlfriend as cosigner and co-owner on the title. We are now experiencing relationship issues and it is unlikely our relationship wil survive. Who is the legal owner of the house and how do we "fix" the co-signed loan issue? She is was also added to my main bank accounts how can I remove her from any and all accounts without closing them

One of you is going to have to buy out the other on your loan. Likewise the simplest way to deal with the accounts is to close them, but that could create problems for your joint loan.

If you are the primary holder of the bank accounts to which you refer, you should be able to go into your bank and have her name removed from any accounts where you are the primary holder and she was added as a secondary. Likewise, she would be able to do the same thing if she is a primary holder.
