Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa
my sister is in IA, trying to move to TN to be closer to family with her children. Childrens father is deployed his mom is handling everything. At first Judge told sister he couldn't stop her from moving. Then the in law ordered court, judge told my sister to provide a job and home in TN, she did, he never responded with saying she could leave, 2 months later it went back to court, judge said same thing except this time he wanted a signed lease, and job, my sister did both that day. Now it has been 2 weeks and she hasn't heard anything from the judge. He said in last hearing that visitation had to be reached, but the other side hasn't submitted anything, and won't as long as she stays there, and the lawyer isn't helping, what is she suppose to do, just leave?

With all due respect this is your sister's problem, not yours, and particularly when the dad is deployed overseas. She should listen to her lawyer and if she doesn't like what she hears she should hire another.
