My son is 15. A teen girl claims he is her child's father and that I will be obligated to pay child support since she is on welfare and my son is minor. Is this true?

If he is the father and that's a big if. You will not be obligated to support the child. A paternity test is in order, even if mom named him on the birth certificate. As a practical matter a teenager is not likely able to support a child, but as a responsible parent I'm sure you'll make him face his obligations like a man.
