Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

spouce is dying

My spouce has been fighting brain cancer for three years and it recently took a turn for the worst. She and I have both been remarried. She had primary custody but I have them half the time. Should I be worried at all of her spouce fighting for the kids?

Yes. The biological parent's rights exist but you do not inherit your spouse's parental rights.
