Title 19 for my adopted son!

We adopted my son, born in 2005, out of the foster care system. At the time we signed some document ending his title 19 coverage as the worker implied it was normal to do this. We've heard from numerous other foster/adoptive parents that they kept the Title 19 active. My son was premature and a few health issues have come up because of it. We have health insurance through my work but would like to get Title 19 back to cover the remainder. Is this possible and how would we go about it? I think the document said we would wait till he's 7 years of age to reconsider.

The first thing you have to do is apply for the coverage. DHS makes the determination if you are eligible. Here's a link to get started.
