Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Visitation

I have a year old daughter and my paternity has been established since her birth, but her mother will not allow me to have visitation. I cannot afford a lawyer, but I need to know if there is anything I can do w/out one, such as file a petition on my own?

You need to establish custody and visitation by way of a court order. There is no easy or inexpensive way to do this and I do not recommend proceeding without counsel.
