Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

My wife and I are filing for divorce. We two adult children who are in college so they are being supported. However, my wife and I already agree on the support for the kids. I will be supporting them. Since they are over 18, can we file as Dissolution of Marriage without Dependent Children in Iowa? This makes the forms a lot easier to file. As indicated, there are not disputes regarding the support of the kids. We are trying to file without an attorney. Thank you.

If they're in college and being supported by you, then they're likely dependents.

Filing a pro se dissolution when there are custody and property issues is one of the most ill advised things a person can do. That $750 you save may end up looking mighty small down the road and you'll have nobody to blame.
