Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Wife moved out. We are trying to file for divorce. Buying a house on contract from the owner. Can I have landlord redraw contract up without her name on it. And can I change the locks legally so she can't just walk in. She does have personal items left on premises.

The answer to your question is no. If the property was acquired during the marriage it is part of the marital estate and you can't just have the landlord draft up a contract and do your ex out of what may well be rightfully hers.
