Wife and I are separated. She was the account holder for our cell phone bill. She tried to get phone and message logs from provider but was denied, so she tricked me by saying she had locked her phone and was having Verizon send a security code to my phone to help her. I gave her the security code I received, and then she used that to access all my phone and text message logs. Can I take legal action? Can she used the info she found by tricking me in the divorce process?

Although eavesdropping is a criminal offense under 727.8, the fact that she's the account holder gives her a pretty good argument that she had every right to find out what's going on in the devices covered by the contract. That would be the same argument she'd be making in any contested hearing on the matter. I'd make sure your attorney knows what went on, and I'd change my phone.
