Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I was wondering, if a person is on Disabilty can you go after them to pay child support, and health insuance for said child. Not married was living together.

And does it depend on what type of Disabilty they are on?

The answer is, you can get a custody and support order if they're the parent. Whether you can get much out of a person on disability is another story entirely.
