Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Two years ago I got a divorce, filled out a QUADRO, took it to my lawyer, & each time when I called he kept saying he was waiting for the judge to sign it. Yesterday I got a note from him saying my ex wants her half. I've called my attorney two weeks in a row with no return call. With the recession/depression, my 401k is worth less than it was two years ago. Am I totally responsible to come up with 1/2 of what it was the day of the divorce which was agreed to at the time. Is my ex at all responsible because she didn't pursue it sooner? And is there any recourse with my attorney. Can I sue him? I will lose a ton of money because of the economy. Thanks

There's a link on the Iowa supreme court website where you can file a complaint against an attorney if he or she has done something that you take issue with.
