Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Iowa

We bought a car from car hop and have had many problems with it but the most recent one was car was broken down wouldnt start took it to a chop and they said it was the cylinder. We still had a week left on our warrenty so we called car hop and they had us take it to awesome auto and if it was the cylinder or anything with the engine it would be covered. Awesome auto said they thought it was the wiring and charged us 213.00 to replace spark plugs and it was not covered by our warrenty. 2 weeks later we finally get our car back and didnt even make it home, the car broke down and the engine started smoking. We called car hop and they said our warrenty was now up and they wouldnt help even though it was obviously something that would have been covered. I think they scammed us

I do not know what you can get accomplished as an individual but i would suggest you contact the attorney general's office and tell them what's going on.
