damage to my car

my employer makes us park in a parking lot a block away in a unsupervised unmonitored parking lot, my new car was keyed badly yesterday while i was working. do i have any recourse or will i have to pay to get this fixed my self, there is over 1000 worth of damage

Did you report it to the police? Did you give them names of persons that might have done it? Do you have insurance? Have you asked the employer who owns the lot? If the employer owns the lot do they have insurance that covers vandalism? Have you asked? Ask.
