Degree of fault
In Iowa if you have a lawsuit pending because of a car accident and you are found at 20% fault of the accident for any reason, is there any payment?

If you were found 20% at fault you would recover 80% of your damages. If you were found 50% you would recover 50% of your damages. But if you were found to be 51% at fault you would recover nothing. You have to be less at fault than the combined fault attributed to all other defendants.
