Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Iowa

engagement ring

A engagement ring was given with the promise of marriage...the woman took the ring and dumped the guy....she refuses to return the ring and the guy is stuck with bill...are there any Iowa laws to help the guy get the ring back???? Thank you!
