Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Iowa

My ex-wife was court ordered to maintain payments on a vehicle and then allowed it to get repossessed. They then came after me to pay the entire amount of $6, 830. Am I able to go after her in court to get reimbursed since she was ordered to pay for the vehicle and didn't?

Generally the answer to your question is yes. Your lawyer will send a letter demanding payment after which he/she will file an Application to Show Cause (why she should not be held in contempt of court for failing to live up to the Court Decree.
