Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Iowa
my father had a house given to him by my brother. My dad had a girlfriend that was suppose to get the title of the house in my dads name to find out she did no such thing. She had the title put solely in her name and when she had all of my dads property and money she kicked my dad out of the house stating good luck with your four dollars. We found out after the fact that she has mislead my dad to believing the house was in his name, his other property was in his name to find out she has stolen it all. EVERYTHING he owned is in her name without his knowledge or consent. She lied to my dad telling him the house was his when in fact she had it put in her name by my brother who thought that when she went to the attorney it would be in dads name to find out she lied ot the attorney and told the attorney she was the buyer, well yeah by defrauding my father out of it Told him he didn't need to sign the title told him he didn't need to do anything that she had it taken care of . Thinking things were being done on his behalf to find out this women stole it all and was doing and acting only for her concerns. Well, the problem you have is that we're just like other folks-we've got a lot invested in our education and maintaining our law licenses and can no more work for free than a plumber or a carpenter or a dentist will. You'll have to figure out a way to pay an attorney if you want that legal justice.
