Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Iowa
I would like to know what the law is for Iowa when it comes down to the state being able to sue a business fora product that is harmful to the citizens of that state. use the states citizens in thier lawsuit and collect money for damages done to those said citizens and then never give the citizens that are damaged by that product a dime. How is this legal and do you know what law that this is falling under that protects the state to be able to sue on behalf of the citizens and then they don't have to pay those citizens..I thank you

I'd really need to know so I can put it all in the proper context. You can call me but probably not till Friday; as I'm very busy for the next two days.
