Legal Question in Insurance Law in Iowa
My aunt is deceased. her life insurance policy has matured. she has an adopted son which she hasnt had anything to do with for nearly 20 years. I have been in charge of all her medical decisions, her banking and had power of attorney. My question is do i legally have to list him as a legal heir when filling out the affidavit-where there is no will for the insurance company?
