Legal Question in Insurance Law in Iowa
My husband never got a copy of his title from lender after paying off. We now live in another state, can't get the cars registered. What's the law? We paid off his car in Illinois. We paid off my car when we lived in Alabama, before we moved to Illinois. Now we live in Iowa, and have been told about 8 different versions as to how to correct all this. What do we do?

Well, you have to go back to the lender and get them to release their lien on the title. Maybe hire a local lawyer to help you.
