Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Iowa
DHS told my husband he needed to leave our home due to his meth use. He complied and signed up for treatment. When I called to ask if he could come home she stated that she was going to request our permission to remove the children from our care. There is no legal action open against us, she questioned our child before we knew she was coming, and she never had me sign a safety plan. Can my husband come home until the legal case is opened?

The answer is no, not until the DHS investigation is settled and disposed of. I do not think that it is likely at this stage of the game with meth abuse in the picture.
