Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Iowa
when is it legal for me to move out?
Hi. I'm sixteen and I was told by a few people that a teen can move out of their parents home at 17 and the parents cannot stop them. Is that true? And if not, when is it legal for me to move out?

The age of majority is 18 in the state of Iowa. Those few people who told you different were misinformed.
