Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Iowa

My son lives in Iowa and is currently getting ready for a divorce. In the mean time, his soon to be ex packed up his girls in the middle of the night and took them to Arizona with no intentions of coming back. Please tell me there is a way she can be made to return.

If he has not yet taken any legal action, i.e., filed a dissolution and enjoined her from moving until the matter is resolved, he's not in a good place to argue for custody. I would recommend that he consult an attorney as soon as possible.
