Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
I was demoted with a paycut supposedly based on work performance, however I was never provided any proof or examples of poor work. Do I have any recourse?

Iowa is a right to work state which means that you can be fired for any reason, good reason or no reason at all unless you have a collective bargaining agreement or a contract of employment. Absent that, employers can do more or less as they please.
