Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
I exhausted my FMLA (cancer) and have been on LTD for less than 2 months. 2 weeks ago, after meeting with my bosses, I returned to work 1/2 time as I still have radiation treatments ongoing. I still have 1/2 time disabiity, but was planning on returning full time in 2 weeks when treatements are done. My boss has been insinuating that I may not have a fulltime job to return to, but has not specifically stated this. At what point is he (the company) required to notify me of my status? I am fully capable of working the job I had at this point in my recovery.
