Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

I was fired from my job just out of the blue. I was never written up, or given a verbal warning or had any complaints about me or anyone working under me. I was the manager for a food service company serving a county jail. Do I have any rights. I was never given a reason other than they didn't think I was representing the company to there liking.
