Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
I gave notice to my company to leave and start my own business. I disclosed this at my resignation. I gave 90 days notice as I perfomed so many functions. Now 2 months later, my employer is trying to sue me for 90 days in payroll saying I was working on my own business while in their employ. I did but not on company time. Do they have a case?

Without knowing the other side of the story it's hard to say. Nonetheless you should hire an attorney to defend your rights.
