Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
I gave my resignation for job whose physical requirements has caused me to be under doctor treatment. I was told contract required my repayment of moving expenses if I leave prior to 2 yr anniversary. I offered to tear up letter and work to fulfill contract. I was told could not take bake resignation letter then added 15 days to what I had listed as my last day along with being told must write check to company after I receive next 3 paycheck amounting to 78% of check.
I am willing to make a realistic payment plan or fulfill contract if doctor gives okay.
Please advise!
