Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
Hello,
I'm having trouble with a fellow employee at work, they have repeatedly accused me wrongly, and called me names to other employees in the process. I filed a harassment claim with my manager back in Feb. 2010, but the accusations and name calling continue. I am not the only employee to have claims against this person. Does my employer have an obligation to get rid of this abusive employee?

The answer to your question is no. Of course they're exposing themselves to liability by retaining that person.
