Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

I was hired as a FT employee, I just found due to a lack of hours on my pay check that I had written PTO down, and I was not payed for it. I have been charged more for my benefits because I was entered in their system as a PT employee which was their mistake, this is a differential because FT employees should pay less. My employer should be changing this, and they told me i would have the money they didn't pay me today, and i did not get it. my manager has not taken the time to supply me w the paper work i have asked her for. so that I can get paid for PTO i have written down in the past.
