Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
My husband was injured in a nonwork related fall. The doctor has released him to be able to return to work part time, but his employer is unwilling to let him return until he is 100%. This puts him out of work with no income for another month or more. He has used all his sick time and vacation already. Does he have any recourse in this matter.

Unless he has a contract of employment or a collective bargaining agreement employment is pretty much at will in Iowa and the employer can set the terms and conditions under which people work.
