Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
Our management was told recently that if they heard anyone talking about the recent lay off at the company they were to report them to upper management and they would be terminated immediately. Is this legal?

Iowa is a right to work state. Unless you have a contract of employment or are part of a collective bargaining agreement you can be terminated for any reason, good reason or no reason at all.
