Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

As part of management do I have any legal rights as to how many hours I'm made to work? All vacation time and sick pay are based on an 8 hour day.

You probably need to contact the labor commissioner if you think your employer is asking you to work too much. On the other hand, Iowa is a right to work state which means you can be terminated for any reason, good reason, or no reason at all, unless you have a contract of employment.
