Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
I quit my job after they fired a co-worker for something he never did and fabricated evidence against him. I also got frustrated after the hundreds of emails they would send out threatening to terminate employees. I quit by calling in and talking to the supervisor in person, but I just found out that I was terminated. My question is can I be terminated after I already quit and should they be getting away by threatening their employees? I live in Iowa

Iowa is a right to work state which means you can be fired for any reason, good reason or no reason at all, unless you have a contract of employment or are covered by a collective bargaining agreement, or you can prove it was gender or racial discrimination.
