Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

i received an email on my cellphone stating that I was fired from my job for abusing an resident, when I tried to call my boss I did not receive a call back I called for 3 days so I finally called the corporate office and spoke to someone there and I finally received a call from my boss saying I was under investigation. during this time I am off work they finally called and said it was unfounded during this time I had to go to the ER for muscle spasms related to stress. When i was released to go back to work I stated to my boss that I was released to soon and was still in a lot of pain. I accidently fell asleep 3 times for less then 5 minutes due to taking a pain pill that I told my boss i needed to take because I was hurting. the next morning I was fired for sleeping
