Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

Recently, I found out that my boss has been charging me for insurance, despite the fact that our insurance benefits were terminated on May 1st. So there's essentially the money STOLEN from my wife and I, as well as several medical services that were rendered under the belief that we had insurance. I am looking in to unemployment and would just like to know if there is some way for us to seek justice in this matter.

The employer should give you back the money if it wasn't going for insurance. Have you asked them to do so? As far as your medical services that you now find that the insurance was terminated you can file a lawsuit against your employer. As to the likelihood of success I can't comment.
