Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
i signed a training contract for 3 years prorated. they never gave me the training they promised. They fired me and want me to pay then 10,000.00 back for training. how do i get out of this. also the owner had his wife be the notary on the contract. is that legal? she works at the business and is the controller there. I feel so wronged. what do i do?

You haven't said what alleged reason you were fired for. You say you never received the training but they want you to pay for it anyway. Something sounds fishy-I suggest you consult an attorney and get an opinion.
