Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
In the state of Iowa is it against the law to bring a child to work even though there is not a handbook stating anything and others have done it as well?

Because others have done it does not constitute some sort of blanket permission. Without knowing more facts concerning the type of work environment, the age of the child, and how much effort would be required to supervise and attend to the child I couldn't offer an opinion one way or the other.
