Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
I work on a casino that is currently flooded out and we can not access the boat. We are being paid by a insurance company while we are off. We have a sister property about 6 miles down the road but we are to run as two seperate casinos. They have made us come in and clean in prior years they are now telling us we have to work at the other property eeven though I have never worked at this property is this legal?

Is it the same operator? They can reassign you. Iowa is a right to workl state which means you can be fired for any reason good reason or no reason at all, unless you have a contract of employment or are covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
