Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa
What should be done?
I work at a non-profit community college. A co-worker, a male, spends much of the day at break, lunch and not working much at all. I have spoken verbally/written with my supervisor and the vice president of the college at various times for an entire year about the problem. Nothing has been done and recently he has been going online to look at inappropriate web pages and emails - scantily clad women etc. What can I do to get administration to act by repremanding him, firing him or just to observe his behaviors in the office? I am feeling like I have no options. He is getting paid twice what I am and that is what is really fueling the fire. Any suggestions or courses of actions - that I have not taken that you could recommend? (I also have a time sheet of when he goes on break and when he gets back and his web surfing habit for about 2 or 3 weeks time period)

An open letter to the Board of Directors and/or largw contibutors to the school would be very effective. Call or email for further assistance.
