Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

I work for a "for profit college" - Can they terminate an employee for circumstances beyond their control, IE: holding them accountable for students dropping or inability to get students to return to school? Is there ANY legal recourse to this?

This is Iowa, and it's a right to work state which means you can be terminated for any reason, good reason or no reason at all unless you have a contract of employment or are part of a collective bargaining agreement. Let me guess. It starts with a K?
