Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

I worked for a major insurance co and was terminated. They continued to pay me for 2 paroll periods = 1month after my termination date. They called and want reimbursed for this amt. Am I legally bound to pay theim back? Also do I have any right to receive payment for vac hrs that were accrued and on the books at termination?Thank You Ryan in IA

As to the first question, the answer is yes. As to the second question, that is something that would be addressed either in your contract of employment if you had one, in an employee handbook, or between you and the human resources people at your former employer.
