Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Iowa
I am in an apartment lease and I just got a new job in a different state. Are there any state laws in Iowa or the city of West Des Moines, IA that will allow me to break the lease so that my apartment complex does not hold me back from a new job opportunity? I have an offer letter from the company to prove that I have been offered the position.

The answer to your question is no. You're stuck with the lease you negotiated.
