city is evicting 400 people,why?

our city bought the aparment complex we live in. they say it is a local liability and community eyesore. also they claim it is responsible for a dip in local pride. they are leveling it, all 20 acres. to make a ''poster-child'' image of burlington. in doing so they are making 400 homeless, many having lived here 20 years or more. most of us live here because we cant affored local cost of living anywhere else.please any advice would be appreciated. thank you. signed-minimum wage, mother of 2.

Get a better job, or better training, or share housing, or buy a duplex and get renters to pay half of your house payment. There are a lot of options, don't be passive and let things happen to you. Take charge of your life.
