Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Iowa

I am leaving this country because my project got over earlier than expected. My lease is there till Jan'2009. 6 months lease. Want to terminate my lease 4 months in advance. The Property management manager is not approachable. They are asking for quite a big amount ($1300 rent is $515) as buy out which is difficult for us to pay. Kindly advice how to deal with this in a win win situation.

There's no good way out of this. You are obligated under the lease for the rent unless and until another tenant comes along. You can try and find another tenant to take over the lease, or you can simply move out and not pay. That has its own set of disadvantages, however.
