Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Iowa
I currently rent an apartment. I had a leaky pipe in my bathroom ceiling that has caused a lot of damage to the dry wall, carpet and ceiling. My concern is that there is a lot of mold everywhere in the area. I do not feel that I should have to live in those conditions, but it has been a month and it is not yet fixed. I have been communicating with my property managment and they have taken some steps, but I need it fixed. Is there any action that I can take?

As a practical matter no, but I would hire an attorney to write them a nastygram and get them moving.
