Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Iowa
renters rights
the house we are renting is very unsafe due to doors dont open for emergency exits,cabinets are falling off wall ect.this is all dangerouse to our children and want to know if the law requires landlord to fix problems?

Re: renters rights
Call your local city hall housing inspection authority AND your Legal Aid Attorney center IMMEDIATELY and get an inspection. THey will order LL to repair if conditions are dangerous or uninhabitable.
