Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Iowa

My section 8 housing is in jeopardy because someone was said to be living with me and this is the third time it has come up I provided a lease that the person gave me and My housing authority stated that it was forged. That is what the person gave me so how can I be held accountable for what someone else gave me? Now I may lose my hosung for myself and my kids because of someone else's mistake. The person was ssen at my home but never lived there. I just didnt beleive that it was a crime to see anyone that was not on your lease. I feel violated and embarrassed because I came here to change my life and to get away from an abusive relationship, and I got involved in another one and just because I called the police everyone is saying that he lives with me and he does not. I can see who I want but because the person has been seen at my home is that right to say he lives with me. I just feel like I am being targeted because management does not like me and she sent a notice to my housing authority the day I gave my notice to her to move and now I cant because she has lied on me. So what can I do on my appeal?
