Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Iowa
My boyfriends ex wife works for a law firm that is handling my bankruptcy. She sent my boyfriend a text informing him that i am going through a bankruptcy and that i needed to contact her at the office. Is this acceptable or do i have a confidentiality suit?

Since you're not husband and wife there's no matrimonial privilege. On that note, how would this hurt you? He's a witness.
