Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Iowa

Can Werner Enterprises (trucking company) which is my job change the way they pay an employee even though their handbook says otherwise? Is this also called discrimination?

Unless a handbook is a contract of employment or you're covered by a collective bargaining agreement the answer is yes, they can do pretty much what they like. It's not discrimination either.
